Ethan Bench

Junior, Brookville Track

Junior was a part of three relay titles and finished runner-up in the 100 meters – to teammate Coy Hyre – at the SWBL track and field championships. That effort helped the Blue Devils claim a third straight divisional championship (won the Buckeye crown). Teamed with Walt Adams, Dane Moore and Douglas Moore to win the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. Teamed with Adams, Lucas Tipton and Douglas Moore to win the 4x800 relay.


Kaya Asinjo

Freshman, Oakwood Track

Freshman had a hand in 40 points with four first place finishes at the SWBL Track & Field Championships. Effort helped the Jills win their first SWBL title since 2021 and stop Valley View’s three-year championship run. Asinjo won the long jump by 10-inches with a leap of 16-3 and won the 400 by over a second in 57.90. She also ran legs on the winnings 4x400 and 4x800 relays (3:59:34 and 9:55.33, respectively).
