Adrian Allen put together a milestone-filled week at the plate to earn Southwestern Buckeye League Athlete of the Week honors. The Franklin senior shortstop hit .667 over six games, going 14-for-21 with four doubles, three home runs, 10 runs scored and eight RBIs. She posted a 1.981 OPS and 1.286 slugging percentage. Allen also recorded her 100th career hit and tied the school’s home run record with 19. She is batting .511 on the season.
Owen King
Senior, Middletown Madison Baseball
Madison senior pitcher Owen King earned Southwestern Buckeye League Athlete of the Week honors after a dominant start to his final season. King is 3-0 with a 1.05 ERA and 25 strikeouts over 20 innings, allowing just three earned runs while walking only two. He added four scoreless innings in a recent 7-6 win over Waynesville, continuing to anchor the Mohawks’ staff with consistency and command.
